Ali brings more than two decades of writing and communications experience to Sorted Communications. Having trained in linguistics and held in-house communication roles in the UK National Health Service and John Lewis, Ali set up Sorted Communications (originally known as The Effective English Company) in 2013 to provide flexible, remote communications support to in-house teams.
When she is not applying her direct, no-nonsense and can-do approach to the business environment, she loves to take on the world of dragon boat racing, a passion she indulges alongside her love of travel. Ali can also read, write and speak a bit of Arabic; she taught English in Sudan for a year after graduating from university.
