Our team is growing! Meet our new comms manager

Earlier this month we were thrilled to welcome another new face to the team, Katie Gibson, who joins us as communications manager. Katie brings more than a decade of communications experience, having worked in a variety of industries and for well-known names such as WHSmith and Thames Water.

Speaking about the appointment, Sorted Communications director and founder Ali Marsland said, “Katie comes on board at an exciting time for us as we continue to grow and take on new clients. In her new role, Katie will primarily focus on managing our clients’ larger publication projects from start to finish, working in partnership with our experienced designers and other suppliers to deliver a seamless experience.”

The majority of the team at Sorted Communications work flexible, part-time hours, which allows us to react quickly and efficiently to our clients’ needs. With two small children, Katie had been on the look-out for a role that would give her the chance to continue in a profession she loves whilst fitting around the ever-increasing demands of family life.

“I’m really pleased to have joined the team at Sorted Communications,” she said. “It’s a first for me working on the agency side and I’m really looking forward to the variety that’s going to bring. I was also attracted by the flexible business model Ali has created. It’s not only fantastic for our clients, but it appealed to me because it means I’m able to carry on doing what I do best – and still be free to do the school run and spend time with the kids.”
