Sorted Comms joins Good Business Charter

We are excited to announce that we have gained Good Business Charter accreditation. This recognises our serious commitment to environmental responsibility, customer care, fairer hours, contracts amongst other issues. The accreditation supports our aim to be one of the UK’s most ethical and fair communication agencies.

“Sorted Communications has always valued a happy workforce and a satisfied customer base,” says Ali Marsland, Founder and Director of Sorted Communications. “We are proud to now have joined the Good Business Charter as it emphasises that to us, people come first in business. We can now demonstrate our continued determination to remain an ethical and environmentally minded business whilst also offering the best customer service from a happy and committed team.”

What is the Good Business Charter?

It requires companies to meet 10 business obligations to achieve accreditation. Its aims to allow businesses to highlight their responsible practices to customers and the wider community.

The 10 components, which must all be met to achieve accreditation, commit organisations to:

  1. Paying a real living wage
  2. Providing fairer hours and contracts
  3. Supporting employee wellbeing
  4. Enabling employee representation
  5. Valuing diversity and inclusion
  6. Considering environmental responsibility
  7. Paying fair tax
  8. Making a commitment to customers
  9. Sourcing ethically
  10. Paying suppliers promptly

This accreditation, which comes in our 10th anniversary year, highlights the company’s continuing focus on workforce wellbeing. As an organisation in which staff can work from home and largely choose their own hours, the company is able to offer a work-life balance rarely seen in communication agencies today.
